It was announced Monday Russell Wilson has been named the ACC Offensive Back of the week following his performance against ECU this past Saturday.

Wilson completed 21 of 31 pass attempts for 210 yards and three touchdowns in the Wolfpack’s thrilling overtime win over ECU. All three of his touchdown passes tied the game. Wilson directed the Pack on a 7 play, 55-yard touchdown drive to force overtime. Wilson completed four of five passes for 56 yards on the drive, including a 26-yarder to Jarvis Williams on the first play of the sequence, and a 17-yarder to Andre Brown on the next play to set the Pack up with a first down at the ECU 29.

What a weekend against the Pirates. The NC State Volleyball team joined the football team in the upsetting of the Pirates. The Pack won in 3 games to move it’s all time record against the Pirates to 39-4. Could this be the season the volleyball team finally ends their hundred billion year losing streak in the ACC? I hope so. Coach Stubbs has been here long enough to get her own players in the system and start seeing some results.
