Faithful readers, I have good news!!!

I am still alive and blogging on this great site. I know it has been a while and to be honest I don’t really have a good excuse. What matters now is that I am back and the Pack seems to be having a pretty good summer. I am not going to go into great depth now, but here are a few things going on in Wolfpack County. First and foremost, women’s head basketball coach Kay Yow seems to be getting back to her old self. She is working with her summer basketball camps and making trips around the county for various reasons. There is an article in the Technician for those who what more.

I would also like to mention football recruiting. Last week the Pack received a verbal commitment from quarterback Mike Glennon. He is currently listed on scout.com as a four star player and the #13 QB in the class of 2008. It is a pretty big get for Coach O’Brien. Another very important verbal commit comes form Brandon Barnes a running back from Bunn, NC. Barnes is also a four star player and ranked as the #7 ranked RB in the nation and the top prospect in NC. Several other players have committed and the class of 2008 is starting to shape up as a very good one. If TOB can show the results on the field and keep up the solid recruiting the sky is the limit for the Pack.
