Please Remain Seated
I have one favor of you people who are lucky enough to have tickets to Saturday’s game against the tar heels of the university of north carolina at chapel hill, stay in your seats! This game has the potential to be ugly, very ugly, we know what them baby blue wearing ball players can do, just as Miami, but you aren’t going to beat the traffic. Stay in your seats! I’ll even allow you to stand through out the game. Just please do not make your way to the exits with 3 minutes on the clock. Those men in red work hard each and every day to bring in money for the university and to entertain you, their audience. As we’ve seen time and time again, they don’t give up on the basketball court therefore you shouldn’t give up on them. When you leave early, that is exactly the message you are sending them, “You blew it, I’m going home”. So I ask you, I beg you, please stay until the clock reads 0:00. Of course at that very moment you better move fast because the RBC Center staff will take your seat out from under you because there is a Hurricanes game right after the basketball game….again.
So people, as you debate on whether you should try to beat the traffic remember a few things, 1) the team cares and so should you, 2) I have friends that would love to have your seat. If you do plan on leaving early, please shoot me an email and let me know where to meet you so I can get your tickets from you, my friends will greatly appreciate it!
