Pack take on Virginia
The Pack look to rebound after a tough blowout last time out tonight against Virginia. The Cavalier’s got the better of the Pack earlier this season, but the Pack have definitely have improved since their December 3rd meeting. (The Pack’s first game without Atsur).
The starting lineup has seen a small change since then with Freshman Dennis Horner taking over the starting spot from Brian Nieman. However don’t be surprised to see Atsur back in the line up tonight. He has been practicing the last 2 days and does expect to get some playing time.
One key to a Wolfpack victory tonight, would be trying to stop Virginia’s Senior Guard J.R. Reynolds. Reynolds is the reigning ACC player of the week after taking over their last two games. Last week Reynolds put up 57 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Another key will be allowing Grant to be Grant, not a pg. Grant has put up 20+ points in 3 of his last 4 games, and also put up 20+ last time the Pack played the Cavs.
Side note: Lowe was 3-7 against the Cavs as a player, with the 7 losses coming in a row.
